Services

Home Build Ally provides independent guidance and general information to assist clients in understanding residential building documents, selections and pre-construction processes.

Services are educational and advisory in nature only and do not constitute legal, financial, engineering, architectural, certifier or licensed building consultancy services.

Clients remain responsible for all final decisions, builder communications, contract execution and independent professional advice where required.

Unless specifically agreed in writing, Home Build Ally does not act as a representative, negotiator, project manager or authorised agent on behalf of clients.

Booking & Scope Confirmation

All services are requested via the website contact form or email and confirmed after:

submission of a short intake form (questionnaire)
review of documents and confirmation of scope
issuance of an invoice

Document reviews are based on the information provided at the time of service and are intended to identify general observations, practical considerations and potential clarification points only.

Tailored support services may be quoted separately and are subject to agreed scope, availability and written confirmation prior to commencement. Attendance at third-party appointments or meetings does not constitute professional representation or responsibility for third-party advice, recommendations or outcomes.

Home Build Ally does not guarantee the identification of all defects, omissions, compliance issues or contractual risks.

Work does not commence until payment is received.

Turnaround Times

Turnaround times vary depending on the service type, complexity of documents, and current workload. Estimated timeframes will be confirmed after the intake form and documents are reviewed. Urgent reviews may be available on request and will be quoted separately.

Fees & Payment

All fees are quoted in Australian dollars.

Payment is required before work begins. For the Premium Package, payments are invoiced per stage as outlined in the service description.

Payment is made via bank transfer (PayID or BSB/Account No.) as shown on the invoice.

Any additional document reviews, clarification calls, or support outside the agreed scope can be quoted separately.

Cancellations & Changes

If you need to cancel or change a service, please notify as early as possible.

Because services involve preparation and document review, cancellations and refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis and may be adjusted to reflect time already spent.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

providing accurate and complete information
supplying relevant documents in a timely manner
making final decisions based on their own judgement and professional advice where required
obtaining independent legal, financial, engineering, building certification or other licensed professional advice where required

Document Accuracy & Third-Party Information

Home Build Ally reviews and explains information based on the documents provided by the client. While reasonable care is taken, Home Build Ally cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or final implementation of plans, tenders, selections, or pricing prepared by third parties.

Independent Service Disclaimer

Home Build Ally provides independent guidance and document-based support. Services do not replace professional advice from licensed or qualified providers such as builders, architects, engineers, certifiers, surveyors, or legal practitioners.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Home Build Ally is not liable for any loss, damage, cost, or delay arising from:

decisions made by the client
builder actions or omissions
changes made after documents are reviewed
reliance on information provided outside the agreed service scope

Intellectual Property

All written summaries, templates, and materials provided remain the intellectual property of Home Build Ally and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
